About the author
Meet Hannah Samuels, a dedicated member of the Boots Hearingcare family for over 6 years. Prior to joining Boots, Hannah spent 3 years with another private provider, transitioning from an optical assistant to a hearingcare assistant.
With a background fully trained in the optical field, Hannah made a decisive shift to hearing, undertaking a year-long hearingcare assistant course in Glasgow and Birmingham. This educational journey continued with two additional years at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, under the mentorship of two Audiology PHD's.
Hannah's commitment and contributions have not gone unnoticed at Boots Hearingcare. She's been recognised as an Accountability Champion nominee and Colleague of the Month. Additionally, Hannah is qualified in ear micro suction and is actively pursuing professional development through a Leadership Development Programme scheduled to conclude in late 2024.
Beyond her professional achievements, Hannah finds solace in meditative pursuits such as forest walking, tai chi, meditation, and spa therapies. At home in South West Scotland with her partner and cats, Hannah has cultivated a life that harmonises professional excellence with personal well-being. Her dedication to the field of hearingcare is reflected not only in her career milestones but also in the fulfillment she finds in her everyday life.
