The individual audiometrists are great. Kniwledgeable, professional, friendly. The system is let down by the call centre and online booking system, which are unhelpful, disorganised, time-consuming and not fit for purpose

Deevya explained what she was doing and why. Also talked me through the new setting on my updated hearing aids. All in all a good experience.

The service offered by Boots Hearing has degenerated over the past year or so. I’ve been with Boots hearing for a decade but latterly I’ve never seen the same audiologist twice so no continuity. It has become impossible to book appointments as the message link sent out to me just doesn’t work. Equally trying to phone for an appointment is a problem, you never get through. The efficient service I had in the past has gone. I’ve now moved to an independent practice where I’m not pressured into buying the latest aids and I have a significant choice of hearing aid suppliers, not just the one which Boots offers.

Alissa went into everything in detail and showed me how to pair my hearing aids, how to use the app and how to alter the settings to account for the discomfort I experience in some settings such as crowds. She has incredible knowledge.

They provided patient and caring service, with an interest-free payment option which made things easier. I was also impressed with their support in fixing my mum’s charger issue by lending us one in the meantime. Overall, a thorough and empathetic service, making a positive impact on our daily lives.

A very attentive and understanding young lady made me feel comfortable as soon as I stepped into the room. The tests were easy to follow and results instant. Choice of hearing aids explained and I was even able to wander around the shop for 10 mins to trial the sound it was amazing.

I was seen by Annett Scott on 7th of December 2023 for hearing assessment. I would like to share my experience for the hearing care. the service was very disappointing and frustrating. She did not even explain the process of how the hearing will be done, the test started and I wasn’t even aware. Afterwards, she was very harsh in sharing the results by saying “I’ve hearing lost”. I’ve asked if this is a temporary hearing loss due to I’ve fluid in my ear, she strictly said no it’s Permanent hearing loss and need hearing aid. I was very upset and shocked by the results. According to ENT consultant it can be not accurate for now due to suffering with fluid in my both ears which can make it difficult to get hearing assessment right. Therefore she has no right to say whether I lost my hearing or not as I believe this consultation need to come from ENT doctor. I’m still under recovering for the hearing and to get the fluid out it can take weeks or months therefore hearing assessment can be unreliable results. I have always used boots services and it has always been amazing but this time my experience was very disappointed and awful. I hope you take this feedback into consideration.

Boots on line - Don’t buy, your order will not arrive because Boots use Royal Mail. I placed my order on the 11th December. It’s 17th of December today , and I have still not received my online order. Boots should ditch Parcel Farce and use DPD instead. They are much more efficient.
