Boots Hearingcare Warrington

My husband has been unwell for a while and going to boots for the problem. He was treated with respect and he was not cohered to buy a certain hearing aid. Unfortunately my husband passed away but he hadn’t had the hearing aid long less than 90 days and I was given a full refund.

Found the sound check and consultation better than I've had elsewhere. The only downside is despite discounts the hearing aids are still expensive.

She was extremely professional in all that she did , and carefully explained each process which made the whole experience extremely satisfying . The ladies that did my hearing test and the fitting of my hearing aids were very helpful and explained everything extremely well.

The computer went down within 5 minutes of appointment. This took nearly 20 minutes to fix, so instead of the appointment lasting 70 mins, it lasted 2hrs 30mins approx. Both the Audiologist and her colleague were efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.

From initial assessment to full test and review Maimona Patel has been excellent and can't speak too highly about the advice and guidance she has given me leaving no stone unturned on the way to selecting my hearing aids.

Stephanie initially then Maimona gave a superb service. Listened carefully to issues, asked probing questions to determine issues. Then gave comprehensive explanation of hearing test results. I am a health professional myself and this was my second visit to check how I was getting on with my newly fitted Phonak hearing aids. Both this and my first visit were well handled by a clearly experienced professional audiologist, Maimona, who explained all aspects of the aids to my full satisfaction and was very helpful and informative. Previously I had used an NHS aid which although helpful was nowhere near as good as my new aids which are also less fiddly to maintain.

My hearing test and examination was extremely thorough . My results were shown and discussed with me and my wife and we were both pleasantly surprised by how accurate they were . My options around my requirements were explained in great detail and picking my best option was made easy .I have had my hearing aids for 3 weeks now and in my recent follow - up Assessment I was able to discuss my experience so far , was given sound advice on how to deal with any problems and was given a firm date for my 1 year review. Good hearing aids tend to be expensive no matter where you go so service and professionalism are the deciding factors and the care and skill given to my elderly mother by Maimona & Stephanie has been first class. They are good people, people you can trust.

Be aware, there are two consulting rooms in different parts of the store. I was sat outside 1 as per sign by the door, only to be collected some 5 minutes later by the other audiologist. Apart from that the service was great with reminders of appointments by e-mail including duration, handy to know for parking in the town centre.

Awful service. Booked hearing test appt online for Boots Golden Square, Warrington and received email confirmation. Turned up for 12.15 appt and sat outside consulting room. Nobody came to me so I went to speak to a pleasent assistant who told me 'oh we have not seen her in today' !! What!! I had travelled 16 miles round trip for this awful service. The company has my details but nobody tried to contact me. Shocking way to treat a customer.

Excellent service provided by Maimona Patel at Boots HearingCare in Warrington. She was very thorough with her explanations and diagnoses. No hard selling. Will definitely return for regular checks.
