Best branch EVER. after purchasing first set of hearing aids for mother-in-law 2–3 years ago at Hagley Road branch – I was not happy with service I received there from Miriam H. Just absolutely rushed, nothing was explained from the tech to after-care, cleaning to maintenance nor overall process. NOTHING. Didn’t even know that filters had to be changed & wasn’t even offered credit options or plans/insurance. So refused to go back so I tried multiple other branches for Mom such as Yardley, Mell Square Solihull & Touchwood. I did experience better service at these but still not what you’d expect for a private audiologist. It was hit a miss for getting good audiologist or a standard one which you can get by booking an NHS appointment. But after booking at touchwood branch, I finally got the exquisite care, customer service, personal touch after-care, advice & even front of house! Laura and Aya are absolutely amazing audiologists & go way above their role to assist their customers. Even the front of desk staff truly care about their clients & are on first name basis with some customers. Don’t even get me started on how lovely Marcus is on reception. I cannot remember the other gentlemans name on reception as well as the lovely young lady with black hair but both are truly lovely people who treat you like long time friends. On my second most recent visit, Laura checked everything over and my mother-in-law was very happy but A few days later she stopped hearing out of one side of her bronze package hearing aid. so I booked an emergency appointment for the following day which was easily doable on the app. I attended and saw the lovely Aya. She checked absolutely everything as mum said she just could not hear anything on that one side and Aya immediately found that there was no power. She changed the wire, scanned everything via the system from output to battery, rechecked Mom‘s hearing and a 15 minute appointment took almost 3 hours. we walked out with a brand-new upgrade. Payment system issue as we did not expect to spend so much money and mum did not bring her card, Aya was so patient and accommodating in allowing us time to do transfers, adding virtual cards to mobile phone wallet added time to a 15 min appointment but Aya remained professional & patient. She kept checking on us and giving us more time. She explained the difference between the old hearing aids and New ones. Patiently took time to explain everything to Mom as English was not her first language. She rejected Mom‘s hearing before and after refit. Ensured that everything went home with us due to the chaos of the appointment, ensured her waiting customers were seen by another audiologist due to our unexpected appointment extension and so lovingly comforted me when I got emotional over the fact that mum could now hear so perfectly again. She ticked every box, checked absolutely everything and even provided letters for our GP as well as medical advice. This is the type of audiologist you want, as well as Laura so if you are going to purchase any private hearing aids – do it at this branch with these audiologists and front of house staff. 10/10 for knowledge, care of clients, advice, patience, cleanliness of store, equipment, products. 9/10 for accessories (as approx 4-5 and not cheap), aids price not cheap but higher level ones are quality, 20% discount on 2nd purchase, finance & care plans/insurance available including 4 yr warranty. 8/10 for location as based in busy mall with a car park at the base so some walking req. There are disabled parking bays (not free) but also require some walking. payable by card/contactless only, no longer accepts cash. There is an elevator with 3 to 5 minutes of walking to store depending on walking speed. There is a possibility of dropping off somebody on the upper outside of store, but it still requires about the same time of walking. 3-5 seats in the waiting room but she won’t be waiting for long and water refreshment receptacle. Please ask reception for cop. 10/10 recommend x
