I went to the Boots at Northampton Town Centre to review my new hearing aids the audiologist Shahina is very friendly and helpful. She explained all the details how it works and adjusted it to the best setting. She is patient and put me at ease. Altogether a good experience. Thank you Shahina

Absolutely appalling treatment of my elderly father. Five of his appointments have now been cancelled. The latest yesterday just 30 minutes before he was due to leave. Staff didn't care and shrugged it off as nothing.

Every appointment has been either early or on time with everything explained in detail. The audiologist was friendly and polite.

Boots have a wide range of the latest high quality hearing aids. Fitting for in ear types was straightforward. Very pleased with sound quality and bluetooth capability so I can take calls and listen to music.

After procrastinating for months I took the plunge and made an appointment to have my hearing tested at the Northampton branch of Boots. The audiologist Michael Daws explained in great detail what a full hearing test involved. I was amazed at the technology used to assess my hearing. At each stage of the assessment he explained what was involved and how the information would be used. At the end of the process he told me that I had severe hearing loss in both ears. Michael went on to explain what type of hearing aids I should consider buying. I chose the Phonak Lumity Platinum model. They come with a 4 year warranty, battery charger and you can even have a choice of colours! There is also full support from the audiology staff throughout the warranty period. I have now had my hearing aids for 3 months and they have made such a difference I wish I had made the decision much earlier to have my hearing tested. Finally, my wife and I would like to thank Michael for his professionalism from start to finish. He is a credit to Boots.

I was quite nervous about my hearing test at Boots Northampton (Grosvenor Centre), but I really needn't have been. The audiologist, Michael Daws, made me feel instantly at ease. He explained what would be happening and even took a history of my hearing problems, something which has never been done before, even at the hospital. The test takes place in a sound booth, which means that it is easier to concentrate on the bleeps in the ear phones. The results were explained very clearly and I chose to make an appointment for a more in depth test. Michael has a lovely, relaxed, easy manner with his customers, is gentle and kind when applying the earphones, shows great respect and doesn't talk down to you. It was so nice not to be spoken to like an older person. All in all, a very good experience with a really kind and considerate person.

Excellent service until the purchasing of the hearing aids which is no fault of the employee who is obviously trained to push Boots products not given the option of do you wish to purchase these or refer back to doctor

Her consultation and examination of my hearing was comprehensive and thorough. She stressed that she would give me solutions and options based upon her findings with pros and cons together with relevant costs and never was I under any pressure to buy. I had complete confidence in her professional assessment and what was best for me. Exceptional service and professional care and I would highly recommend Katyana to anyone seeking help for their hearing problems.

Lovely reception and knowledgeable technician - Katyana. I was sorry for her as one of the BTE fobs was u/s. Not her fault and she dealt with the problem swiftly.

A very thorough examination. Everything is explained to you. There is no sales pitch, or made to feel that you have to buy. The lady I saw was kind, considerate, patient, and very understanding of my feelings and needs.
