I cannot recommend this service enough, I visited the Fosse Park store with my daughter on Monday for a hearing test with Shabnam. I have been wearing NHS hearing aids for many years but felt that now they are no longer suitable for me. Shabnam was so very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly that she made me feel at ease straight away. She was very thorough and conscientious, she advised me of the options and the benefits they offered without any pressure to purchase whatever. I was able to go round the store wearing some hearing aids and was amazed at the difference, I could hear my daughter talking to me and felt amazing to be able to talk back to someone. I decided immediately that I would have some and collected them yesterday. Shabnam showed me how to fit and care for them and again was just lovely. It has been fantastic because for the first time in years I was able to sit in a room with other people and be able to have a proper conversation. This is going to be so special for me going forward and I am so happy that I went through with my purchase. Thank you so much Shabnam for your wonderful service I appreciate it so very much.

Shocking service experience. After having a bad experience with spec savers I decided to go to boots for a more professional service. Well all I can say is it wasn’t the best and still hasn’t been resolved, was sold a set of their top of the range hearing aids at £3500, very impressive until I was supposed to pick them up. 1st appointment was cancelled by them an hour before it supposed to go ahead, I then follow the link to re schedule and had text confirmation. I take the afternoon off work as the hearing centre at fosse park is over 20miles away. Turn up only to be told they have no record of having the appointment and there was no one there from the hearing department. The person at boots wasn’t convinced I had booked it till I showed her confirmation I had been sent. I then called the main hearing care centre only to be told I’d either not booked it correctly or there was a system error (it’s obviously a system error if I’ve had confirmation) was then told a new appointment would be booked only to be told there isn’t an appointment available for over a week. So another half day lost of work. Far from a great professional service at a cost of £3500

The audiologist (Shabnam) was amazing with a great sense of humour and caring attitude. To us, her knowledge was outstanding and, having dealt with other companies, Boots are certainly at the top of the tree.

The overall customer experience was delightful- empathetic, skilful and knowledgeable. The staff were very friendly & engendered trust. Fatima was so good!

Professional but friendly and sensible service

Katelyn and Fatima were great. They explained in detail the tests and the results. They outlined possible courses of action. I was happy with the price of the hearing aids especially as the one I bought was discounted.

I had an ear impression appointment and was serviced by the lovely Shabnam Khan. Shabnam was so friendly and attentive. I had never had an ear impression before and she went to great lengths to explain the whole process and make me feel at ease. Shabnam took her time during the procedure and ensured I was comfortable the whole time. I will be strongly recommend the Fosse Park store to friends and family due to the level of service of I receive from Shabnam today. Thank you for all your help today Shabnam.

Nikita at Boots Hearingcare in Leicester has been amazing with my mother. So patient, knowledgeable and made her feel very comfortable with the whole process. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Great service compared to a local independent the young lady was extremely patient with my dad . It took three visits to select the correct hearing aid , now we are just waiting for it to arrive and be fitted .

I was very pleased with the way the audiologist made me feel relaxed and comfortable during the consultation. I had everything explained to me and left feeling assured.

I have suffered from poor hearing for some years without knowing to what extent. I was persuaded to go for a hearing test, there is a vast amount of choice, before making a decision I looked for a company that were well established, had a good reputation in this field and solid after sales service. I eventually chose Boots as they met all my criterea, the audiologist was excellent explaining the test and the various types of aides, which ones would be best for my condition and other bolt on extras to assist me at work as well as home life. All various costs were explained. At the end I said I wished to give it more thought as it was a big decision. I investigated what else was in the market and compared to what was on offer from Boots. I arranged a second meeting with them and set out my questions, which were answered without hesitation in a very professional manner. At the end I was convinced that Boots would best supply all I needed and signed on the line for the recommended service to assist my condition.

Excellent audiologist (Shabnam). She explained everything clearly and thoroughly and there was no pressure at all.

Although they are great when buying hearing aids, getting appointments for the aftercare is difficult. I was due to take my 92 year old disabled father for wax removal and aftercare appointments today but again they have been cancelled. Same thing in October. The logistics of getting days off then getting him to appointments is always difficult and so frustrating when they cancel last minute. We're so fed up that we are going to have to go elsewhere for new aids for him at an expense he can't afford but at least they will be able to go to him instead. Currently only 1 of his hearing aids is working and I can't get an appointment for another week just to see what's wrong. I see the reviews on here are about a good buying experience but be aware that once you've paid out for expensive hearing aids all that attention goes....

Although I was a bit reticent about getting hearing aids, I felt reassured and was treated both professionally and with empathy by the person who dealt with my referral. I ended up with a pair of hearing aids which most definitely seem to accommodate my needs.

BOOTS HEARING TEST / HEARING AIDS All the information you could want about hearing, and a wide choice of hearing aids with a demonstration that was a revelation.

I was seen by an excellent practitioner who explained everything to me and made my husband and I feel at ease.

I purchased my hearing aids from Boots and although the cost was quite high I was satisfied with the way I was treated. However, one of the aids would not hold the charge and twice it has been sent back for repair and on neither occasion have I been told what the problem was. It is still not working and nobody at Boots seems able to satisfactorily deal with this matter. They just keep wanting to send it back for a repair which is clearly not working and meanwhile i am without a hearing aid.For what I paid I am extremely angry at the lack of customer support.

Well to be fair I did go for test with NHS I was referd to have help with NHS, but I Wonted more than that so I went to hear 4u they were very good, but a few year back I had a test with boots and thought they just had the edge on the rest it was explained to me filly with the wife, she let me wear them out in the crowd and they was fine, I did won't them in the ear so no one could see them. But with my wife and the lady helping, they convinced me I was making the right chouse and being able to use the blue tooth phone app suits me better so there you go, thanks I like your service, j Taylot
