Supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK
Boots Hearingcare is proud to partner with Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We are working together to transform public awareness of how looking after your hearing supports brain health, while raising vital funds to find a cure for dementia.

Our partnership
Boots Hearingcare is joining Alzheimer’s Research UK as a Think Brain Health partner. The campaign helps people identify the simple steps they can take to look after their brains to help reduce the risk of developing dementia, such as preventing and managing hearing loss.
We’re encouraging customers to book a free hearing test, helping to identify any changes early and provide the right support where needed.
For every customer who purchases and retains hearing aids with Boots Hearingcare, we will donate £1 to Alzheimer's Research UK to support vital dementia research and help fund the search for a cure.

Why hearing health matters
Research suggests that nearly half of dementia cases worldwide could be prevented by addressing factors we may be able to influence, including hearing loss.
Hearing loss is one of the largest modifiable risk factors. If everyone took steps to prevent or manage hearing loss, there would be seven fewer cases of dementia for every 100 people who develop it worldwide.
There are steps we can take to protect our hearing through regular hearing tests and wearing prescribed hearing devices. These steps can help protect brain health and keep us connected to the people and world around us.
