Ear wax removal booking
We’re here to make booking your earwax removal appointment simple and straightforward. While we aim to offer this service in as many locations as possible, not every Boots Hearingcare store provides earwax removal at the moment. Below, you’ll find a list of the stores that do.

Before you book
To help make your appointment a success, please check the following:
Have you used a softening spray?
If not, we recommend using a medical-grade olive oil spray such as Earol or Audinell once a day for 5–7 days before your appointment. This helps soften the wax so it can be removed safely and comfortably. If the wax is too dry or deep in the ear canal, we may not be able to remove it during your first appointment and may ask you to rebook.
Do you have a known perforation or routinely see ENT for ear care?
If you have a known perforated eardrum, ongoing ear infections, or usually require ENT care, our clinicians won’t be able to see you in-store for earwax removal. Please get in touch with your GP or ENT service for advice instead.
New to Boots Hearingcare?
For customers new to Boots Hearingcare, we include a hearing screening during the wax removal appointment, provided your ear can be cleared, giving you peace of mind knowing about your ear & hearing health.
