Boots Opticians managed to get my glasses prescription wrong the first time, then sent me to another branch where I was told I’d have to pay for a retest. I ended up going back and forth seven times, including losing a day of work because they showed absolutely no flexibility. They prioritised new customers over solving the mess created by their own incompetence. To add insult to injury, changing one of two frames for something similar meant I was charged an extra £90. The younger staff seemed totally unfazed, some were even amused by my inconvenience, and although two senior staff eventually stepped in, the overall attitude remained completely unapologetic and lacking even basic courtesy. The ovearall experience would ammount to a grand total of zero stars.

Man on medicines/prescription counter today was unbelievably rude and unprofessional! Late 50s grey hair and beaed. Totally in the wrong job no customer service skills disgusting

After last minute cancellations over the past 5 months. Obtaining any customer care from head office would appear near impossible for this store despite spending 3k on new hearing aids. There appears to be little concern at head office to resolve the issues which is so disappointing.

She put me at ease. Explained step by step the hearing test. The results were made clear. I was recommended the best pair of hearing aids for my loss. I even tested a pair out and wandered around the shop. Thankyou Boots .

My hearing test was very extensive and carried out with care. The audiologist was friendly, helpful, professional and put me at ease. I have now got my new hearing aids which are very comfortable and I can hear without any problems.

Fantastic audiology review, with a thorough reassessment and focused advice regarding self care. Sam is a supreme professional. Although this is a national franchise, the quality of service feels like an independent and customer focused business - from checking in through to assessment and feedback. Pleased to say that it also seems much easier to get through by phone than it has done for the past few years.
