Boots Hearingcare Banbury

Recently I booked an appointment at Boots Hearing Centre in Banbury and I was extremely fortunate enough to be seen by Muthu Raj. He has been absolutely brilliant, so helpful, kind, patient and very understanding, an amazing health care professional. After having a negative experience with a well known hearing centre, I was slightly nervous but I needn't have worried. Muthu put me an my ease by taking the time to listen. He carried out an extension hearing test, explaining each step in a calm and very knowledgeable way. I have had further follow up appointments with additional hearing tests which helped determine the full extent of my hearing loss. I am now at the stage of wearing my new hearing aids which have honestly completely changed my life and given me my confidence back to enjoy life again. It doesn't stop there because the aftercare service is wonderful, you never feel on your own. I would highly recommend Boots Hearing Centre.

Hearing test was thorough and everything well explained

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable audiologist. He was very patient and listened to all my concerns.

The audiologist, Mr Muthu Raj, explained the tests he was going to do, went through the test results with patience, answered all my questions, described the various hearing aids available. He was courteous, pleasant and efficient. My hearing aid has opened a better world for me.

Muthuraj is an excellent audiologist and comes over as very competent and knowledgeable. He also cares that as a customer I feel happy with his work which I do.

Friendly and profound knowledge of the product to suit me

The hearing technician listened to what I said and was was helpful and insightful in explaining all the aspects of the test and products available.

So far the experience has been great. My mum was anxious before her first appointment but was immediately put at ease by Muthu Raj at the Banbury store. Greeted with a smile, everything was explained clearly throughout the whole process. He talked through the results in a way we could understand and answered all the questions we had. We have had a check up appointment to tweak the hearing aids which my mum has reported is a lot better so shows that Raj listened and understood what he had to do to make it better for her. Would recommend the Banbury store. Thank you Raj for all your help.

Appointment was cancelled 5 Mins before it was due, travelled to boots and was sat waiting for my appointment then to be notified that it had been cancelled, not happy

After staff changes boots become horrible place, prescriptions received yesterday and Tom (store manager) will not give to me life saving medication when I said I needed this medicine. Tom refused to inform me when prescription arrived as is not my business, so the only way to get my medication is take back my prescription and change the pharmacy and not use boots anymore. Tom refused to give me back mine prescriptions, 6 urgent items prescribe following Neurologists advisory.

Sana was superb - very helpful, understanding, clear and thorough

Immediately after hearing aid fitted, left ,went to a store for shopping and could not hear serving assistant.went straight back to Boots hearing centre.Asked for refund, audioligst made further adjustments and asked ifI would agree to a 2 week appointment for further checks. The sound is better but hearing aids keep popping out of ears.Disappointing overall.I will attend the follow up appointment and decide from there.

I went to Boots after listening to local Radio when they mentioned about regular hearing tests for the over 40's. I went along and after having to clear ear wax was told the same diagnosis by 2 Audiologists. I had an in-depth Hearing test at Boots and was asked many in depth questions so that they understood what my issues were. I was very impressed with the Audiologist and how she explained everything to me. No pressure sales and I felt at ease asking what may have been odd questions. Very clear and professional service. Happy to purchase a pair of hearing aids.

Sana Ali, the Boots Hearing Specialist in Banbury was extremely helpful. She was professional, patient and empathetic. I have been struggling to hear for many years and she has prescribed a hearing aid for my right ear and given a referral letter for my GP to request a cochlear implant as I'm totally deaf in my right ear. I can't think Sana enough for literally changing my life. Would definitely recommend this service to family and friends.
