Boots Hearingcare London Oxford Street

I've used Boots audiology service for a few years now and have been to the Oxford Street branch twice. Both times they were able to help me and gave great service to me.

Made to feel comfortable and was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Terrible booking system, dropped in to book appointment in store but staff is reluctant to help with this. Original plan is to compare between Boots and Specsavers, now the answer is clear, the other one offers much better service from the moment I stepped into the store.

I booked a wax cleaning for my son who is Autistic weeks in advance. I Was instructed to put drops in his ears for 2 weeks (traumatic for him). The appointment at Oxford street was confirmed by Boots the day before- and then cancelled by phone with a garbled message -and no explanation on the day of the appointment. We were given a number to call to re-schedule- no one picked up that number. This was very distressing for my son. The only compliment I can pay is to Anna at the Oxford street store who eventually helped my son re-schedule when he went into the store the following week. To make matters worse: I received the standard reply to this message from Boots that they would like an opportunity to discuss-could I please contact them-which I did- no reply!!

A very good experience. The audiologist extended my appointment so that she could the tests all in one session. That really helped as it meant I could order my hearing aid on that day. She called me to see if I wanted to come in earlier as my hearing aid had arrived. She was thorough, kind and friendly. All the above common sense, flexibility and caring from a client as an individual rare these days.

I found the service efficient, friendly and Professional. I was seen on time both for the de-waxing and hearing test appointments which I found unusual. I found some confusion on costing but,perhaps, I did not listen carefully enough.

Excellent care and treatment

The audiologist was very patient, and presented me with a range of hearling aids. As I seem to have lost most of my hearing in the upper frequencies, they suggested products that would help me here. It took them a little time to locate my GP referral medical information, but other than that everything went very well. The Oxford Street was very busy, and I had to wait a while before being seen, but that is to be expected.

Fantastically specialised, patient oriented care. Could not recommend this service more. As a young person with sudden hearing loss I was nervous about shopping for hearing aids and how their functionality would impact my life but the Boots Audiologist I saw made me feel completely at ease and comfortable allowing me to make a tailored decision that was well-informed and totally comfortable. I cannot thank them enough.

I received professional help and advise from an assistant after a comprehensive hearing test that pinpointed exactly what my hearing issue was.

A brilliant service from Heeral - patient, caring and after explaining all the options took the time to work out with me what was the best one for my situation. Heeral made the whole experience as pleasant and positive as it could be! I would highly recommend her.
