Boots Hearingcare Croydon Whitgift Centre

I am extremley pleased with the service I have received thus far with the Boot's audilogy team. Every member of staff has been very pleasant and helpful. The expert who has been all of the above and more is Suba.

In February I was issued with a pair of NHS hearing aids, which were powerful and assisted with my hearing but looked unsightly, felt uncomfortable and my earlobes were sore. My confidence hit rock bottom. I explained to my NHS audiologist how I felt but was told there is nothing more they can do for me as the NHS has limited funding. I decided to visit Boots Hearing Care in Croydon. An Audiologist named Suba actually listened to me and advised. A week later I have a pair of powerful hearing aids, smaller in size and comfortable. My confidence is sky high! Thank you Suba for everything.

I visited on the 13th May for a hearing test, but it didn't go ahead because I had too much earlier wax in both ears. The audiologist I met with- Suba, was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very welcome and at ease, almost like a member of my family. I'll certainly be back for a catch up with Suba soon and have recommended my friends to Whitgift for hearing as I know they will be well looked after.

No major issues with the actual hearing aids (although one has been repaired three times and the other once). My issue is with the hassle involved in getting faults rectified. Boots quote seven to ten working days turnaround. Sat and Sun are not working days. To initiate a repair users need to first make an appointment (could easily be a week or more before one is available), deliver the faulty device, then wait for the repair to be executed and eventually go back to the hearing centre to collect it. This is not a service model suitable for what is often an essential aid. Try somewhere else. It could not possibly be less convenient.

Clear and concise information was given throughout tests and fittings. I was made to feel at ease.

Had my 4 custom earplug moulds taken here for ACS. Lovely team, made sure I was okay before going in to the room and the specialist was great.

Audiologist was very caring and explained everything to me so I felt reassured.

I was pleased with my new hearing aids and the explanation of how they worked. I would have liked to know more about caring for them but I have a follow up appointment in one month to ask any questions I have - so I am quite happy with everything.

Suba Tabsim was great, but there was a delivery problem

Suba spent a long time testing and explaining my hearing and the options available to me, each with pros and cons. All very informative and helpful. Fitting explanations also very clear. Explanation of the App was hindered by no signal in the basement clinic at boots - but all explained as best she could.

No complaints about the staff, they are very good and patient. But feel let down by the product, having a lot of problems with them and have lost confidence in them. I don't think they are worth the money I paid.
