Very professional audiologists and optometrists. A good variety of spectacles also hearing aids. All the staff are very friendly and courteous.

My review is for the opticians. Came in today for an eye test and the service was fantastic from all members of staff I dealt with who were all extremely friendly but my review in particular is for Vince the optician. Being the first eye test I’ve had since primary school age I was apprehensive and nervous but Vince made me feel completely comfortable from the outset, explained everything clearly and helped me find the lenses I needed which made an immediate difference. I would highly recommend Boots Opticians

Welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the store. Everything about the hearing tests was explained well before and during. Purchasing was easy too with plenty of options. Richard, the Audiologist was very helpful from start to finish and put me at ease during the tests. Everything set up with me before leaving on day of collecting and next appointment made too. Overall, an easy process all the way through.

Richard was professional & easy to consult with on a subject that is a sore point for me, I felt very relaxed with him.

The service I received was excellent,extremely friendly and very professional.However I am having problems with one of my devices it appears that it does not hold a charge for long so makes it unaffected. I have a follow up consultation on the 20th January and I will discuss the problem with audiologist.

Thorough testing. Everything explained. Already have NHS aids. No comparison! I could hear, but unable to tell what is being said. Had difficulty with batteries. Arthritic fingers. Will be easier. Very pleasant experience.

Richard was very helpful and explained the aids were on a 90 day fully fefund should I not be satisfied with them. I have tried a few different aids and for some reason don’t get on with them. I have an appointment September 5th to see how I’m getting on with them,which I must say I’m hoping they will improve my hearing by then as I still get echos from them and still need sub titles on tv

My husband was a bit worried about his hearing test and having hearing aids for the first but when we went in and was seen by a very knowledgeable man called Richard made us feel at ease and after his test and was then fitted with the hearing aids 2 weeks later they where so comfortable to wear and he could hear everything and everyone and now my husband can now be more involved with conversation with the family,so if anyone is worried about wearing hearing aids don't be thank you Richard

The meeting to discuss my hearing problem was conducted by a courteous, helpful, professional gentleman who understood, completely, my needs and his profession! I had previous meetings with two other companies. This was, by far, the best.

The audiologist who examined me was very thorough and talked me through my options - giving me a full picture of my hearing loss. I was able to be fitted with my preferred choice and a date for their collection and fitting. It was also good to know that I had a 90 day option to return with full refund if not happy.

I came in for some ear impressions for ACS hearing protection as I had a voucher for some custom earplugs to be fitted. I got an appointment first thing the next morning and was done incredibly quickly. Everyone is lovely and happy to help. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Went to see Richard at Boots in Clacton with some trepidation. Hearing Aids seem like a capitulation, an admission of old age. But 'hear' I am, now realising what I have been missing. With Richards help my Tinnitus doesn't seem so loud now and I can hear high frequency sounds so much better and you can hardly see these devices. Ray

The audioligist was very good and took time to explain the issues to me. The hearingcare service was generally good. I attended the first appointment but was then re-directed to another site nearby which was not as my appointment e-mail. The e-mail communication was otherwise good. The hearing aids were very good and all aspects of their use were discussed. The price of hearing aids was quite high with no offers available but this can be justified by the good level of aftercare provided.
