Colleagues raise £7,000 for Action on Hearing Loss!

Not only did our colleagues conquer three of the UK’s highest mountains…they’ve also raised over £7,000 for AOHL!

Congratulations to Jonathan Gardner, Managing Director and Martin Hirst, Retail Director who have just completed the three peaks challenge over three days!

Also a huge congratulations to the following Boots Hearingcare colleagues who supported the guys on different stages of their Three Peaks Challenge: Madeline Shaw, Steve Ross, Steven Ross, Phillip Page, Glenn Jamieson, Elaine McColl, Rita Greig, Jessal Naran, Emily Charmer, Tomos Parry, Amy Benjamin, Caroline Naughton and Sian Davies. Not forgetting the delightful Julie Evans, who did an incredible job organising all the logistics and driving over 1000 miles!

The challenge started off at
Ben Nevis where they had glorious sunshine and everyone was in high spirits.

Day two brought the team to the base of Scafell Pike, where they were joined by Paul Breckell,
Chief Executive from Action on Hearing Loss! And incredibly in just over 4 ½ hours the team completed their second leg!

The third and final day arrived with mixed emotions - excitement to have nearly completed the Three Peaks Challenge, but also nervousness of climbing the Welsh beast known as Snowdon! The weather was overcast and slightly humid, but this didn’t deter the team from charging full speed ahead and reaching the top within 2 hours 15 mins!

Snowdon

Huge congratulations to everyone who not only participated in the challenge, but also to the colleagues, friends and family for the donations, support, emails and texts. Together once match funded by the business we’ve raised over £7,000 for AOHL!
