2 Year Graduate Programme

Boots Hearingcare believe Audiology is an important healthcare provision.  With an ageing population and growing engagement with technology we are in a prime position to deliver on our mission of “Restoring People’s Worlds”. We believe it’s important to invest in future Audiologists and consider those newly qualified in a BSc in Audiology as a benchmark for clinical provision. This is why we have a two year Graduate Development Programme which builds on the excellent foundations of the degree.

Objectives of our Graduate Development Programme:

  1. Support your transition from student to Boots Hearingcare Hearing Aid Audiologist (HAA).
  2. Enable clinical excellence during your career.
  3. Enhance your product knowledge through induction and inclusion in regular product development updates.
  4. Develop commercial acumen and leadership skills to support work in clinic.
  5. Spot talent and build succession plans for our business.

At Boots Hearingcare we base our learning around the 70/20/10 model. The majority of your development will happen “on the job”, you will learn by doing and being in clinic. 20% of your learning will be with support from your Line Manager and those in your local support network. You will gain further development in a classroom environment where there’s a specific business need (e.g. a new product launch). This blend of learning will allow you to apply the practical knowledge and skill you have into a live working environment underpinned by our Academy and learning and development team.

The 2 year programme is open to those who expect to qualify this year or who qualified last year.  Clinical experience post qualification will be taken into account.

The Graduate programem is not open to candidates who require a visa to work for us unless you already have your own visa and are permitted to work full time hours.

Register your interest in our assessment days and select the "Graduate (recently qualified option".  We will send you a booklet providing more information and book a place on our assessment day so you can ask questions, learn more and have the opportunity to be considered for a place on our Programme.

Assessment centres take place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May but if you are reading this after these dates we still enourage you to register your interest and will respond.
