Marketing and Advertising

We will only send you marketing material if you’ve agreed that we can.  If you no longer want to receive marketing from Boots Hearingcare, please call us on 0845 270 1600.  Meanwhile,our Privacy Policy explains what to do if you no longer want to receive other Boots marketing material.

Securing your Payment Details Online

Ordering online using your credit or debit card details is just as safe as ordering goods over the telephone, if not more so.  Boots Hearingcare has been issued with a Secure Server Digital Certificate by the online Certification Authority, Geo Trust Inc.  In addition to this, all credit and debit card payments are securely handled by one of the world’s leading independent payment service providers and are not stored on the Boots Hearingcare website.

We are so confident of the security on our site that we back every purchase with our assurance of security.  In the event of unauthorised use or your credit or debit card, your card issuer may require you to pay the first £50 but will cover your liability up to that amount provided that the unauthorised use of your card was on purchases made at and resulted from no fault of your own.  You must notify your card provider of the unauthorised usage in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Customer Care: Protecting your Privacy

Boots Hearingcare may use e-mail to contact you about products and services you have requested, for example to confirm an appointment or if there is a query about your selected products and we cannot contact you directly by ‘phone.  To safeguard your privacy, please ensure that you maintain adequate password control over your e-mail account.   Please note also that if you send an e-mail directly to Boots Hearingcare from your own e-mail account its contents will not be encrypted and therefore it will not be secure during transmission.  For this reason, we advise that you do not include any sensitive information in e-mail correspondence.
