At Boots Hearingcare we’ve just completed our first year supporting Action on Hearing Loss (formerly known as RNID). Action on Hearing Loss (AOHL) provides support and care; they develop technology and treatments, and also campaign for equality. Since their foundation in 1911, they’ve grown to be the UK’s leading hearing loss charity helping more than 250,000 people per year, and run the world’s largest donor-funded hearing research programme.
Throughout the year we’ve been busy raising awareness about the fantastic work AOHL carry out in supporting people suffering from hearing loss. Through a variety of fundraising activities; BT Tower climb, Tour de Dales, bake offs, face painting and Carol singing to name a few, we’ve raised an amazing £100,000!
As we head into our second year supporting AOHL, the excitement is already starting to build within our stores, we’re already thinking about what we can do to raise money this year!
