20 hearing aid channels
Simply put, the number of channels determines how finely
your hearing aid can be tuned to best suit your individual level of
hearing loss. The more channels the hearing aid has, the more it
can be finely tuned to give you the most natural and effective
hearing experience. As one of the most sophisticated hearing aids
in our Best Hearing
Aid Range the Phonak Exélia Art features the
greatest number of channels at 20.

Choose where to focus your hearing aids with
ZoomControl*
Zoom Control is a feature unique to Phonak hearing aids and it
gives you the ability to choose in which direction to focus your
hearing aid, and therefore hearing.
Zoom Control is perfect for instances where you may not be
facing a speaker such as listening to a passenger in a car or when
sounds are coming consistently from one direction. That means
your Phonak Exélia Art can 'zoom' your hearing aid
in on the direction sounds are coming from. Zoom Control can be
selected manually on the hearing aid itself or with the use of a
remote control for ease and convenience.

A hearing aid with SoundRecover can help to recapture
higher frequencies
Often with hearing loss it is the higher frequencies that are
lost first, sounds like birdsong and children's voices. In
technical terms SoundRecover 'compresses high frequency sounds into
a region capable of hearing tones'. Basically put the
Phonak Exélia Art uses this feature to 'move'
sounds down into a range that can be heard; therefore this
improves clarity of speech and understanding, and means you can
recapture some of the best sounds in life

A hearing aid that remembers?
With Self Learning the Phonak Exélia Art
hearing aid learns and memorises your setting preferences - e.g.
the amplification volume you use in different listening
environments - and applies these automatically with one click. In
effect it's the next step on from data logging and allows you
greater control over adjusting your hearing aid yourself.
The Phonak Exélia Art also includes a data
logging feature, meaning that your hearing aid remembers and 'logs'
the way you use your hearing aid. It can log details such as when
you wear your hearing aid and for how long, the settings and
programmes you use, you preferred volume etc. Data logging in your
hearing aid will allow your Boots Hearing Aid Audiologist to better
adjust and personalise your settings at your follow up
appointments.

course, hiking the length and breadth of Britain or out for a
simple seaside stroll this hearing aid will create improved ability
to hear and greater comfort.

connected to a hearing aid helping to filter out annoying
background noise. The telecoil on your Phonak Exélia Art can be
used with telephones, FM systems (with neck loops), and induction
loop systems. Loop systems can be found in most public buildings
and use magnetic signals to transmit sounds to the hearing aid.
