At Boots hearingcare we offer two types of hearingcare
appointment depending on your hearing experiences.
A Hearing Health Check is ideal for
people who have never had a hearing test before or have only mild
concerns about their hearing and typically lasts about 15
minutes.
A more in depth Hearing Test is also available for those who
have had a hearing test before, have greater concerns about
their hearing or wear a hearing aid; this appointment lasts about
an hour.
Whichever hearingcare appointment you choose it will be carried
out by a qualified Boots Hearing Aid Audiologist and will
consist of 4 basic stages:

A discussion about your hearing including
any areas where you may find hearing well a challenge |
| A check of the general health of your
ears including a check for wax or any obstruction that may be
affecting your ability to hear clearly |
| A measurement of your hearing ability across a range of sound
frequencies/pitches and volumes |
| We'll answer any questions you may have
and, if it's apparent you have a treatable hearing loss, we will
discuss what options are available to you. |
